Thirty people were killed on Thursday when Russia struck two passenger buses in Kramatorsk, near the frontline in eastern Ukraine, local authorities said.

The Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office said the death toll from the morning attack had risen to 30, and 18 people were wounded.

The governor’s office gave the same toll and said public transport had been suspended.
