The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) has released the key findings of its Systemic Risk Survey (SRS) for the second half of 2026, covering financial market participants’ confidence in the country’s financial system.
The survey was conducted from 17 July to 14 August 2026. It covers the sources of perceived risks and the likelihood of those risks, as well as overall confidence in the system.
CBSL said the results are based on respondents’ perceptions and should not be read as the views of the central bank.
Respondents are executives responsible for risk management at licensed banks, finance companies, primary dealers, insurance companies, unit-trust management companies, stock brokerage firms, licensed microfinance companies, rating agencies and mobile e-money service providers, among others.
The survey is published twice a year, and earlier editions since the first half of 2025 are available on the CBSL website.
