The Bribery Commission has arrested Pradeep Kariyawasam, former Chairman of the National Savings Bank (NSB), in connection with its ongoing investigations into the ‘Siriliya Saviya’ account.
Kariyawasam is the husband of former Chief Justice Shirani Bandaranayake.
He has been arrested in connection with the investigations and has not been found guilty of any offence.
