The Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court extended the remand of Namal Rajapaksa and Janaki Siriwardena over the Krrish deal until 16 October.
The Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday extended the remand of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) MP Namal Rajapaksa and businesswoman Janaki Siriwardena until 16 October in connection with the Krrish deal.
Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama made the order after considering submissions by officers of the Commission.
Siriwardena is a former Executive Director of the Krrish Group. Both are in remand custody.
They are due to appear before the court again on 16 October.
