Around 90 skilled divers from nine prestigious Colombo schools and two renowned clubs are geared up to compete for coveted spots in two prestigious international meets during the 47th Age Group Diving Championships, organized by the Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Union. The much-anticipated event is scheduled to take place over two days at the Sugathadasa Aquatic Complex.
Leading Colombo schools, including Royal College, S Thomas’ College, Thurstan College, St Joseph’s College, DS Senanayake College, Bishop’s College, St Bridget’s Convent, Visakha Vidyalaya, and Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya, will be well-represented at the championship. Additionally, two esteemed clubs, Royal College Union and Sinhalese Sports Clubs, will also field their talented teams.
The 47th Age Group Diving Championships promise fierce competition among the talented divers, as they aim to secure their spots in the prestigious international meets.
